First Swim in a pool! (4 months old)

I have been waiting for this day since you were born, I was such a water baby and summer is my favorite time of the year! We got you geared up in your bathing suit from aunty Andrea, called your friend Cohen and his parents to come with us, slathered you in sunscreen and headed to our pool in our community. The water was warm, it was ideal, I grabbed the camera to make sure i captured every moment, I was waiting for great excitement but you could have taken or left it, either way you didn't mind. I love that about you, you're really easy going and don't mind much of what is going on around you.

The two month shots went off without a hitch. this time we were not so lucky. At first she giggled when she got her first shot, it must have tickled a little, well then she just burst out crying, she proceeded to cry for an hour, ate and fell asleep then continued crying when she woke up. Poor little girl, I hate to use medicines but the Infant tylenol took the edge off enough for her to eat again and take a rest. e

Weight: 16.5oz
Head: 17" (grew an inch in two months)
Length: 26"

she is at 95% of her weight and height, but her weight ratio to her height is perfect - she's a tall one ;-)

First time eating solid food!

You are only 4 months old but I noticed your naps ot shorter, you were watching me every time I put something in my mouth and even though you were consuming 32oz of formula a day you were still hungry! First taste of anything was plain rice cereal, you were not a fan, you acted like I had just stuffed a cotton ball in your mouth. I soon added sweet potato, this was much better, you slurped at the soon trying to figure what to do with the texture. It took several tried before you realized how to swallow the strange consistency. A few days later I tried peas, then pears, then apples then peaches. You love it all, I have yet to find something that you don't like to eat. I hope this trait stays with you, it will be wonderful if you are not a picky eater because although dad can eat pizza for breakfast lunch and dinner, we like to incorporate cuisines from a variety of ethnicities into our diet.
