12 Months

HAPPY BIRTHDAY my little love bug!
I am blown away that on a rainy day just one year ago, I was breathing and concentrating and breathing some more all in an effort to bring you safely into this world.

Over the last few months not allot of changes have happened with your growth or development besides just getting more of a sense of humor. You love to hit yourself in the face and kick cousin Bennett, but we are all certain you mean no harm, you're just being playful and underestimating your own strength.

Dad finished the loft! He did such a great job and I am now in full swing decorating it and making it a safe and happy haven for you to play in. I just know you are going to spend hours creating, learning and discovering in that little space.

Two more teeth poked through on the bottom, you really only struggled two nights with the pain, unlike the other teeth, you look so cute with your emerging "kid mouth".

You are still doing only one nap of two hours. You have been with Lynn this month with Jenni out of town and occasionally she will lay you down for a short morning nap but mostly you are happy with just one.

You are doing much better on the sippy cup (Nuk)Its just taken some practice. have now taken away your bottle completely. At night you only drink a 5oz of milk at midnight, but we are slowly working on weening you off that too. You still wake up screaming, but my hope is with weening you off the bottle and then the cup, you will start learning to put yourself back to sleep.

I love you so much baby girl, your independence and contagious laughter continually thrill me.
